We’ve begun building the new garden beds and filling them with a rich mix of soil, compost, and manure to create a strong foundation for growing healthy, organic food. It’s been a pleasure working alongside our dedicated volunteers—everyone pitched in with enthusiasm, making the process not only productive but also a lot of fun!

A fun fact about the soil mix: the compost we use is made from kitchen scraps, which helps recycle organic matter back into the earth, enriching the soil. The manure, on the other hand, provides essential nutrients and helps improve soil structure. When combined with quality soil, it creates an ideal environment for our plants to thrive organically.

Loved reading about your garden bed journey. There’s something really rewarding about building things from scratch and watching them grow over time, whether it’s plants or a cosy home environment for the family. That same focus on comfort and practicality at home is why many parents also look for smart furniture solutions like childrens bunk beds, especially when making spaces more functional for kids.

Wishing you great success with the garden this season.
